SHA-256 Generator
SHA-256 hash of text in hex or Base64, compared with a checksum when you paste one.
This SHA384 generator returns the 96-character SHA-384 hash of your text, in hex or in the Base64 form that Subresource Integrity attributes use.
Hashed as UTF-8. A trailing space or line break changes the hash.
abc is enough to compare against another SHA-384 tool.integrity value.SHA-384 is SHA-512 with different starting values, cut down to the first 384 bits. It processes 1024-bit blocks with 64-bit arithmetic over 80 rounds, which makes it faster than SHA-256 on most 64-bit processors.
Because part of the internal state is dropped, SHA-384 is not open to the length extension attack that affects SHA-256 and SHA-512 when they are misused as a keyed hash. The page computes it with the browser's crypto.subtle.digest('SHA-384', ...), so your text stays local.
The standard test input abc gives:

The text hello gives 59e1748777448c69de6b800d7a33bbfb9ff1b463e44354c3553bcdb9c666fa90125a3c79f90397bdf5f6a13de828684f.
For Subresource Integrity, take the Base64 form of the file's SHA-384 and write it as integrity="sha384-..." on the <script> or <link> tag.
sha384- prefix. Paste the value without it.It has a longer output and resists length extension. Some standards ask for it, such as the US government's CNSA suite, and many CDNs publish SHA-384 integrity values.
384 bits. That is 96 hex characters or 64 Base64 characters.
SHA-2. The SHA-3 version of the same size is SHA3-384, which gives a different value and can be ticked in the same box.
Often used together with SHA-384 Generator.
SHA-256 hash of text in hex or Base64, compared with a checksum when you paste one.
SHA-512 hash of text as 128 hex characters or Base64.
Hashes text with ten algorithms and compares the result with an expected hash.
