About Utilza
Utilza is a set of free online tools for time, dates, percentages, data sizes, and everyday developer tasks. Here is who builds them and how each result is checked.
Why these tools exist
Small questions come up all the time: how many hours are on this week's time card, how many working days are left before a deadline, why a 1 TB drive shows 931 GB. Most sites that answer them are slow, full of ads, or hide how they got the result. Utilza gives the answer quickly and shows the working.
How the tools are built and tested
Every tool page explains the formula or rules it uses, with each variable defined, so you can check any result by hand. The worked examples on each page are also automated tests. If the code and the example ever disagree, the release is stopped until one of them is fixed.
Date tools follow the Gregorian calendar, including leap years and month-end rules, and each page lists its limitations.
Your data stays in your browser
The tools run in your browser. The numbers, text, and files you enter are not uploaded to our server. Read the privacy policy for the details, including how analytics works.
