Audio Fade In/Out
Add independently timed fades to the start and end of an audio file.
Keep a selected part of an MP3 recording. Enter start and end times in seconds, preview the selection, and download the trimmed clip.
MP3. Up to 100 MiB per file (50 MiB on touch devices), 1800 seconds. Decoded audio memory limits also apply.
Bitrate applies to MP3 and AAC. WAV uses 16-bit PCM; FLAC is lossless. OGG uses quality-based encoding.
Use the waveform to choose a position, or enter exact times. The selected part is re-encoded.
Add a file, pick your settings, then select Cut MP3.
Your result will appear here.
TXT uses your edited text. SRT and VTT use the timed segments; edit segment text below for subtitle changes.
No account or daily usage quota. File and device limits protect your browser from running out of memory.
A start time of 12.5 and an end time of 42.5 keep a 30-second section. The start must be zero or later, and the end must be after the start and inside the recording. You can enter fractions of a second.
The waveform helps you locate quiet gaps and louder passages, but it does not identify words. Use playback to avoid cutting into a syllable. Selection preview uses the original file; the result player lets you check the exported clip.
MP3 stores compressed frames. Re-encoding lets the tool trim the decoded audio at the selected time rather than simply copying whole MP3 frames. The clip may have a small encoder delay or padding, so check it in your target player.
For a softer start or finish, open the clip in Audio Fade In/Out. To put clips together, use Audio Joiner.
Use a decimal number of seconds, such as 12.35. The time fields accept hundredths of a second.
Set Start where the desired section begins and set End to the full recording duration.
No. The selected range is re-encoded so the tool can trim decoded audio at the requested times.
The controls adapt to a narrow screen. Whether a recording can be processed still depends on its duration, codec and available browser memory.
Often used together with MP3 Cutter.

Merge supported recordings in order with common output encoding settings.
Reduce MP3 bitrate and compare the output size before downloading.
