The checkers work on one page at a time. They inspect the HTML our server receives, then report what is missing, duplicated, broken, or conflicting. JavaScript is not rendered, so these tools reflect the raw page response rather than the finished page in your browser.
That makes them useful for title tags, meta descriptions, canonical tags, headings, links, schema blocks, sitemap files, and response details such as redirects or compression. It also explains why a tool can disagree with what you see in a browser tab.
Use the generators to build the tags and files a page needs before you publish. This category includes tools for meta tags, Open Graph tags, Twitter cards, and XML sitemaps.
