How to use the Website SEO Analyzer

  1. Enter the full page URL.
  2. Start the analyzer.
  3. Review each pass, warning, or fail item and fix the page template or response headers as needed.

How it works

This check runs on our server. The page address is used only for this check and is not stored.

The analyzer fetches one HTML page, follows redirects, and inspects the final response without running JavaScript. It checks the response, head tags, headings, word count, image alt coverage, internal and external link counts, structured data, robots.txt, and whether robots.txt lists a sitemap.

Results are grouped as pass, warning, or fail. The summary counts each group, but it does not invent a single score because the problems are not all equal.

Examples

  • A page with no meta description and two H1 tags can return warnings for both issues.
  • A page that redirects from HTTP to HTTPS can still pass, but the redirect chain is listed in the response section.
  • A page with JSON-LD that fails to parse is marked so you can fix the broken script block.

Limitations

  • The analyzer checks one page at a time. It is not a site crawler.
  • It reads the HTML the server receives and does not run JavaScript, so client-rendered tags or content can be missed.
  • The page fetch is capped at 5 MB to keep checks predictable.

Frequently asked questions

Why is there no overall SEO score?

A single score hides the actual problems. This report lists what passed, what needs work, and why.

Does the analyzer render JavaScript?

No. It checks the raw HTML response only.

Can I use this for a whole site audit?

Not directly. It is built for one page per request, which makes the result easier to understand and keeps the server-side check within its limits.
